Here is a video of what I was able to do so far with the VideoRendererElement and a DVD.  I'm showing the DVD title screen so you know it truely is the DVD and not some rip.

*UPDATE*  Woo, got it down to 8% CPU usage, but I still have some unnecessary overhead I can get rid of.
